Sargent Center Holds Free Parent Workhop on

‘Red flags & Resources for Challenges in Child Development’

Sargent Rehabilitation Center will hold a free ‘Link to Learning’ parent workshop on Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 7 – 8:30 pm at the Center, 800 Quaker Lane, Warwick. The topic is “Red Flags & Resources for Challenges in Child Development” and the presenter is Kathleen Schlenz, MS, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist at Sargent. The focus of this workshop will be to discuss some of the early ‘red flags’ that parents and child care professionals should be on the look-out for in terms of developmental delay. The presentation will also provide a review of community resources that can help parents access supports such as early intervention, child outreach and developmental evaluations.
