7 TH ANNUAL BLESSING OF THE BIKES EVENT
TO BE HELD AT SEAPORT COMMUNITY CHURCH IN GROTON
(GROTON, CT): Seaport Community Church and Liberators Motorcycle Ministry will host their 7th Annual Blessing of the Bikes on Sunday April 25, 2009 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in the church parking lot located at 28 Great Brook Road, Groton Connecticut.
This popular event includes live music by Mercy Road, a free barbecue and free admission & give-away to all motorcycle riders. This year’s event includes a guest appearance by AHDRA Drag Racer Rich Vreeland and his Harley Davidson drag bikes. Donations will be accepted with half of the donated funds going to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes fund and the other half going to Save the Children USA’s domestic programs.
“Each year brings first time attendees as well as a large number of regulars, some of whom have been here every year!” says Stuart Bryan, Liberators Motorcycle Ministry president. “Our mission is three-fold: riding, relating, and reaching out. Each year we bless this crowd with unconditional acceptance and prayer for their safety, and blessing in every area of their lives,” he states. “At last year’s event we had over 300 motorcycles and 380 people. It was a record year for us.”
